The Fleet, Northeast Harbor

At the Northeast Harbor Yacht Club, locally referred to as The Fleet, an early 20th-century clubhouse was threatened by rising sea level and an eroding shoreline. LARK collaborated with Elliott Architects, who led the building restoration, on moving the building back from the shore. We also designed enhanced sea walls, erosion repair structures, improved grading and accessibility, restoration of the lawn area, ornamental plantings near the clubhouse, and screening at the landward property lines.
